This process required several meetings to review and apply the research, and then to write an appropriate policy. After completing the policy, the professionals then met with all clinic staff for review and implementation.

In cases of breaches of confidentiality, the professional researches and develops a program specific to their discipline. These programs have included a slide set overview of privacy obligations, cases for discussion, and facilitator notes.
